The Fremantle Derby Club was established in 1995 by a group of South Fremantle and East Fremantle supporter, as a business networking group to support the Fremantle Football Club.
In 1998 the Fremantle Football Club offered the Fremantle Derby Club the use of the Outridge Hoft Room and 109 adjoining seats at Subiaco Oval. The Fremantle Derby Club has been running a premium match day experience on behalf of the Fremantle Dockers since.
In 2018 the Fremantle Derby Club moved to Optus Stadium, with the Fremantle Dockers offering a new function room to the Derby Club.
The Fremantle Derby Club is known as a “Club within the Club” running independently, whilst creating camaraderie and friendship within the group.
The main aim of the Derby Club is to raise funds for the Fremantle Dockers. The Derby Club has been able to do this with great success over the years, with the total contribution in 2022 passing $5.5 million dollars.
Fremantle Derby Club membership includes corporate membership of the Fremantle Dockers.
